The Rocky Mountain Oracle Users Group (RMOUG) started in 1984 as a special interest group. Today, RMOUG has grown to be one of the larger user groups in the Rocky Mountain Region. RMOUG provides many opportunities to members to broaden their technical knowledge including: an annual Training Days conference, educational workshops, newsletter, web site, and on-line technical forums.

Join Secure-24 at the RMOUG Training Days, February 20 – 22, 2018 at the Westin Westminster Hotel, in Westminster, Colorado. Secure-24’s Oracle ACE will present a real use-case on Cloud migration.

Secure-24 Session Description
Every Cloud migration project has its share of unique challenges. With the demands of the business to experience as little downtime as possible, a migration can be eased by knowing what mechanisms and tools exist before a project begins. This project had tight timeframes, large databases, database upgrades and the CLOUD. The session is a real use-case scenario demonstrating the challenges and successes of migrating numerous large, (>10TB) databases from on-premise to the cloud. This session will discuss the tips, tricks and solutions that provided the ability to overcome the challenges faced when failure isn’t an option. This session will help any implementer or project to navigate the Cloud Migration river and avoid the rapids.
