Before he was elected to the Board, Horch co-founded Secure-24 with colleague Volker Straub in 2001. As the company’s Chief Executive Officer from its inception through 2013, he helped propel the company into its position today as an industry leader.
Prior to founding Secure-24, Horch oversaw the deployment and protection of critical IT systems for organizations in diverse industries including financial institutions, nuclear power plants, as well as technology and the automotive industry. He established the eBusiness Hosting and Network Security business for TDS, AG, one of the largest SAP application hosting firms in Europe. He was also responsible for maintaining the company’s success in world-class information security technology.
Horch is one of the leading experts in security products and methodologies to mitigate the risks of security breaches and attacks. His expertise has been trusted in highly secure projects, such as the creation and management of a hosting environment for one of the most modern nuclear power plants in Germany.
Jennings brings more than 25 years of experience in information systems, business development, finance and manufacturing to his current role of Chief Executive Officer at Secure-24.
He was the co-founder, Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President of Business Development at Appshop — a leading provider of hosted Oracle application and database technology. Jennings also founded IT services company InfoSolutions and was a Principal at Simplify, an Oracle ERP consulting company.
Jennings’ experience includes positions with El Dorado Ventures, United Technologies, Pratt & Whitney and SimulTrans. He has designed and built industry leading hosting and software delivery platforms, built and managed global information system support organizations, and supported over 300 technology sales cycle wins. Jennings also managed the implementation of more than 30 ERP and CRM deployments. Jennings has also held senior finance positions as a CFO and Controller.
Scott B. Perper

Mr. Perper joined Pamlico Capital in 1988 and serves as the firm’s Managing Partner. His investing efforts are focused in the Communications and Healthcare industries.
Mr. Perper’s current board affiliations include ATX Networks, Hosting.com and Secure-24. Representative prior boards include American Renal Holdings, House of Blues, Inflow, NuVox Communications, Sonitrol and TMW Systems. Mr. Perper also serves on the boards of Bowdoin College and Charlotte Country Day School.
Prior to joining Pamlico Capital, Mr. Perper was Vice President of the Media and Entertainment Group at Kidder, Peabody & Co. Incorporated. Mr. Perper received a BA from Bowdoin College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Scott R. Stevens
Scott R. Stevens
Mr. Stevens joined Pamlico Capital in 1999 and returned in 2003 following business school. He serves the firm as a Partner with investing efforts that are focused in the Business & Technology Services and Communications industries.
Mr. Stevens’ current board affiliations include Hosting.com, Lightower Fiber Networks, and Secure-24. Representative prior boards include MACTEC, TMW Systems and USA Compression Partners.
Prior to joining Pamlico Capital, Mr. Stevens was an Analyst in the Communications and Media Finance Group at First Union Securities. Mr. Stevens received a BA from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA from The Graduate School of Business at Stanford University.
Amid an extensive career of leading technology applications and services around the globe, Straub envisioned how changing organizations and middle market companies would need reliable, advanced managed hosting services.
In 2001, he launched Secure-24 with co-founder Matthias Horch and built a firm that has been recognized as a leader in Enterprise Hosting and Cloud Services. He has served Secure-24 as Chief Operating Officer since the company’s inception.
Straub has global experience with SAP® and the hosting of mission critical enterprise applications. With over 10 years of experience at TDS, AG, one of Europe’s largest SAP hosting companies, he led the executive team responsible for operations and development of managed application hosting services for the mid-market.
Straub is highly sought for his leadership, SAP experience and business guidance. He has been the IT Management Advisor for some of the largest European companies across the financial and manufacturing sectors.
