Secure-24 performs backups using Virtual Tape Library technology, which is a high-speed, network-based storage device that emulates tape using disk-based storage. To provide full redundancy, a second storage device unit is located at a geographically diverse Secure-24 data center. Redundant, highly available OC192 rings between facilities ensure timely, low latency backups.
