Data Center Physical Security SystemsBuilt to Exceed the Most Stringent Requirements

Each of the Secure-24 data centers is constructed with a high level of physical security in mind. The buildings have very little signage to reduce visibility. Data center portions of the buildings have no windows to increase the physical strength of the building and to reduce possible points of ingress. The buildings are built to be structurally sound, utilizing concrete and steel reinforced walls and are built with a "bunker" mentality to ensure that they are impervious to wind and rain damage.

The geography of the location is also taken into account. Our multiple facilities are located in areas that are deemed to be a low risk of natural disasters. As each of our facilities was built from the ground up to be a Datacenter, they were each built in locations that posed little risk from flooding or inclement weather patterns (i.e.-tornados, hurricanes).

Access to data centers is restricted to "bonded" employees as well as approved clients. Every person coming onto our properties has to provide two forms of identity authentication. This dual authentication comes in the form of magnetic access badges as well as an individual PIN. Each facility utilize biometrics for an added layer of security.

In addition, everyone who enters the facility is required to sign in and out with date, time, reason for visit, and identity information.

Inside the Secure-24 data centers, our customer areas are offered in either a "caged" environment or a secured cabinet. The "caged" areas are sized based on requirements and consist of a wire mesh cage surrounding a cordoned off area specific to a single customer. The "caged" area has a lockable, sliding door; limiting access to only those appropriated a key. The secured cabinets are mesh 42U cabinets with a locking mechanism.

Each of the Secure-24 facilities has multiple security cameras recording both inside and outside. We also have motion detectors and sophisticated alarm systems in place.

Every LAN access point in each of our facilities is secured. Every external piece of equipment is fenced in and vaulted. (i.e. 1000KVA generator is enclosed in steel vault, surrounded by a security fence, and bollards).

The high levels of physical security and integrity are based on the demands of our customers. Many of our customers are heavily audited under HIPAA, Sarbanes-Oxley, and Grahm-Leach-Bliley. As a result, Secure-24 is audited in turn. Every component of our facilities physical infrastructure is built to exceed the most stringent requirements.
