Secure-24, Inc., a hosting provider in Southfield, Michigan, is seeking 4 senior-level SAP Basis Consultants to implement, document, maintain, and support the international SAP technical environment. Individuals in this position work at an advanced technical level requiring a detailed understanding of SAP, its underlying database, operating system, and hardware platform, and interact at a senior level with the SAP development, configuration, and technical teams

Duties:

• Implement, upgrade, and migrate multiple SAP instances of various SAP products;
• Administer the SAP database (plan and perform database upgrades, design and maintain physical database layout, perform database reorganizations, design and implement backup and restore strategy, maintain database security, manage database performance, manage database storage and database problem determination and resolution);
• Integrate one SAP instance with other SAP instances or other non-SAP applications throughout RFC configuration and system landscape directory (SLD) Management;
• Assist in the design, testing and installation of the SAP data archive process;
• Perform SAP maintenance by applying hot packages and kernel upgrades through all systems using a structured methodology;
• Develop and maintain system documentation for all SAP instances and interfaces;
• Provide consulting services to other areas as required, to include 24/7 support in high pressure situations and working with cross-functional teams.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Commerce, or Computer Science or related field, or foreign equivalent. Will also accept equivalent of Bachelor through any suitable combination of education, training, or experience. 2 years experience in System Administration position for SAP environment.
• Position requires strong analytical, problem solving, and conceptual skills with a broad-based knowledge of the technical SAP environment and SAP technologies to include Business Intelligence, Portals, and Supply Chain Management.
• Must have demonstrated experience with SAPDBA, CCMS, BRBACKUP, BRARCHIVE, and SQL TRACE SAP tools.
• Must have two full years experience with: ECC OS/Platform Migration and Upgrade; utilizing SAP logon tickets for the Single Sign On; Oracle Database version 7, 8, 9i and 10g and MS-SQL 2000/2003; SAP on Unix OS, Linux, and Windows.
