Candidate must be an excellent communicator, very organized, multi-task oriented and abel to meet deadlines and complete assignments with minimal supervision. Will be designing, implementing, tuning and maintaining VMware based solutions, and delivering remote support activities including phone support and urgent service response. Ideal candidate will have experience in the dynamic field of IT with extensive knowledge in windows system administration, VMWare ESX platform, server virtualization and consolidation, AD management and other similar technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Learn and maintain current and in-depth knowledge of VMware technology
• Perform installations, conduct on-site and remote consulting, create documentation and provide knowledge transfer for projects
• Technical knowledge of networks, operating systems, utilities, etc.
• Understanding of computer server architectures, including peripheral interfaces (SCSI, RAID, Ethernet) and multi-processor designs (SMP)
• Exposure to Windows Operating systems from a system administrator perspective including Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, and Microsoft SQL
• 2+ years experience designing/implementing Virtualization technologies (VMware ESX Platform in particular)
• Strong skills in integration of related technology with business and computer systems.
• Experience working in a high-availability clustered environment
• Operational Support of the VMWare 2.0 and 3.5 Infrastructure
• Daily support of Back-ups, set up of VMware VMware HA, monitoring, etc
• ISCSI Storage technology, create interface into VMWare
• Fiber Channel Switching
• SAN Configure, Maintain, Monitor

• Red Hat Enterprise Linux
• Windows XP/Server 2000/Server 2003
