We are seeking a Senior Storage Administrator with 3-5 years of hands-on experience deploying and maintaining storage environments built around EMC, NetApp, Cisco, McData and Brocade solutions.

Skills:

• Strong SAN experience with some exposure to fiber channel fabric.
  
• Must have strong Linux/Windows administration skills and some exposure to VMware.
  
• Must have prior experience with designing, planning, and setting up enterprise-wide storage systems.
  
• Proven aptitude with storage management tools.

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for monitoring and maintenance of multiple enterprise class storage arrays.
  
• Responsible for successfully responding to and resolving customer issues related to storage.
  
• Responsible for daily proactive diagnostics to prevent or alert anomalies and resolve error messages.
  
• Responsible for successfully driving and maintaining a completely secure infrastructure in a multi-tenant environment.
  
• Responsible for designing customer specific strategies for disaster recovery.
  
• Researches emerging infrastructure technologies and processes by reviewing white-papers, coordinating project demonstrations, and preparing recommendations for business solutions.
  
• Ensure storage solutions are meeting the business metrics.
  
• Advises on new techniques and estimated costs associated with new or revised programs and utilities, taking into consideration personnel, time, and hardware requirements, and makes trade-off analyses.
  
• Must be available for rotating 24/7 on call shifts.
