Position Overview

Responsible for building custom logic to process, generate
and / or modify requests using an existing API.

Essential Functions / Qualifications

• Design custom logic to enforce process adherence based upon a defined process using Incident Monitor and the request flow management system.
• Design, build, update, and maintain system automation processes to support mission critical systems
• Troubleshooting and incident resolution
• Design, test, and implement feature enhancements to existing systems and processes as requested

Non-Essential Job Functions

• Analysis of existing processes and suggestions for improvements
• Application management of the request flow system

Required Skills

• Fluency in VBS and MS SQL

Desired Skills

• Fluency in one or more of the following languages;
  VB.net, C#, JavaScript, and or ASP.net
• Fluency in Microsoft's DCOM model
• Experience creating and maintaining COM+ objects
• Experience building services in a Server 2k3/8 environment
• After hours / on call rotation required
• Commitment to excellence
• Willingness to take responsibility to ensure issues are resolved
• Team player
• Critical thinking skills
• Professional customer service skills
• Understanding of ITIL IT management standards

Other Skills/Abilities

• PHP knowledge a plus
• Linux experience
