We are seeking a NetWorker Architect/ Engineer for our growing organization. In this role you will perform advanced level NetWorker Architecture to assist with the design, implementation, and administration of Backup and Storage.

Role/Responsibilities:

• Process design/redesign, solution architecture design, implementation planning, procedural review, and deployment strategy development.
• Provide technical and design leadership on NetWorker and its various components.
• Provide technical and design leadership to Client or Partner teams to design and architect solutions and/or deploy software.
• Generate high-quality project documentation, such as project plans, design documents, test plans, deployment strategies, etc.
• Lead and participate in software deployment and technical implementations using best practices knowledge.
• Provide architectural design reviews and recommendation services.
• Provide technical infrastructure planning and implementation services.
• Provide technical solution scoping.
• Communicate status of assignments accurately to project and delivery management.
  

Required Skills:

• Minimum 5-10 years experience as a NetWorker Architect / Engineer, including advanced Legato NetWorker design, configuration, implementation, and administration, in an environment using a broad range of operating systems.
• Advanced knowledge of NetWorker modules such as Oracle/RMAN, SQL, SharePoint, and Exchange.
• Expert troubleshooting and analysis skills including performance tuning and capacity planning.
• Advanced experience with EMC Replication Manager and EDL.
• Advanced experience with VTL technologies
• Advanced knowledge on EMC PowerPath, QLogic HBA's.
• Expert knowledge of backup infrastructure, technologies, and strategies in enterprise environments.
• Advanced knowledge of backup reporting tools like NetWorker Management Console.
• Troubleshooting skills in OS related issues.
• Knowledge on server management tools.
• Log monitoring/maintenance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Experience working in a SLA driven environment.
• Ability to work in a flexible, team-oriented and constantly changing environment.
• Ability to work with the Command Center that manages the Monitoring and providing Level 1 support for the server environment.
• Working knowlge of Windows, Unix and Linux operating systems
• Experience with scripting language (perl, bash, python..etc)
